BTI Scan II has developed a software application that allows digitalization and display of images to facilitate treatment planning for implant surgery. After the radiologist takes a CT scan of the patient (computerized tomography), the CT slice images can be saved and sent to the dentist on CD-ROM to be viewed easily on a PC.
From the information-such as bone density- obtained from this software, we will be able to determine the drilling sequence required for the implants we want to insert.
BTI Scan II software is compatible with any CT that stores images in DICOM 3 format and has the BTI Scan II® radiology (RAD) software.
